Lattice PM is at version 0.2.0. Build from source with the pinned Rust toolchain, or use a published release archive when one is available.
Release archives
Release archives contain lattice and lattice-desktop plus configuration examples, systemd units, the macOS LaunchAgent, sysusers and tmpfiles definitions, and operator documentation. Archives are produced for vX.Y.Z tags by the release workflow.
The 0.2.0 archive set is not published yet. Build from source below, and watchGitHub Releases for prebuilt archives and SHA-256 checksums.
Build from source
The repository pins Rust 1.94.0 and builds use the locked dependency graph.
cargo build --release --locked
cargo build --release --locked -p lattice-desktopThe main executable is target/release/lattice. Running it without arguments opens the sibling lattice-desktop application; explicit arguments use the CLI.
First run on Linux or macOS
lattice vault add /path/to/personal.kdbx
lattice vault init personal
lattice syncLeave the daemon running, then create an invite in another terminal withlattice vault invite personal. On the second device, add the same vault, start its daemon, and run lattice vault join. Compare the confirmation code over a different channel before you approve.
Run as a service
The repository ships hardened systemd system and user units and a macOS per-user LaunchAgent. Install them explicitly from the packaging directory. The release archive also includes sysusers and tmpfiles definitions for the system service account.
Self-host the optional services
The relay and AutoNAT service, peer rendezvous, pairing rendezvous, mailbox, and object storage are separate processes grouped by the lattice-self-hosted.target unit. Container packaging and an installer script are provided for edge hosts.
bash packaging/install/lattice-self-hosted.sh --helpSee Self-hosted availability profile and theservice reference for configuration and operational detail.
